Loch Freuchie and the River Quaich

This loch and river trip is a hidden gem, getting you away from the crowd. We start off by exploring the lovely scenery of Loch Freuchie, surrounded by majestic mountains, getting to grips with SUP'ing in a wonderful location. From there we paddle underneath a tiny humpback bridge, and paddle upstream on the tiny River Quaich. This tiny, slow moving river meanders along, with wonderful views at every corner. After about a mile, its time to turn around and let the current help propel us down the river and back onto the loch.

Loch Freuchie is about 12 miles from Dunkeld, Aberfeldy and Crieff

Yorkshire

Yorkshire offers a huge variety of landscapes to admire and locations to paddle at. The Canal and River network is key to this. Our partners Paddle Surf Yorkshire work from a few different locations, all of which are suitable for beginners as they are all extremely sheltered. The River Wharfe at Otley, and canal locations at Rodley, Apperley Bridge, Skipton, Leeds, Pocklington and Harrogate are all firm favourites. You can contact them directly if there is a specific location you are interested in exploring.
